Hak The Label
This project includes freelance work for "Hak The Label" Jewelry, "Zai" clothing and "Laden" scarves based in Oman. Hak The Label offers original and essential adornments of impeccable style and substance for the discerning woman. Hakima, the owner of Hak The Label requested authentic photography for her jewelry. Zai, a new brand in Oman for authentic clothing, requested a logo in 2019. The designs have to reflect the brands themselves and the future of fashion in Oman.
Zai sells modern clothes with an authentic touch. Zai 'زي' means outfit in Egypt. I used dried Sharpie ink to give an exquisite effect when I wrote the cursive letters of Zai. I have added two dots on top of the letter 'i' which represent the letter 'ي' in Arabic. Laden 'لادن' is a contemporary modest scarf fashion brand for all women. It means fluidity and that’s what the scarves feels like. Therefore, I designed the logo using Arabic letters to create a string of scarves, and I also photographed two models wearing the scarves. For the photoshoot for Hak The Label, I used twin models who have different personalities. The photography emphasizes the unique attitude of the jewelry on the twins.
